I’m Nickie, the founder of The Happy Hustle Co, a British woman now living on the sunny Costa Blanca in Spain.

Being self-employed throughout my working life has allowed me to take my creativity and experience in many interesting directions.

My career has never followed one neat, predictable route. Instead, it has moved across industries that may appear completely unrelated at first glance, with each one adding new skills, knowledge and practical experience along the way.

I also began exploring the digital space during the early days of computers, (including dial-up internet - yes, I am that old! - and Gen X - all the way) long before creating and selling online became as accessible as it is today.

Since then, my interests have continued to expand into digital marketing, branding, psychology, messaging, technology and the practical possibilities of AI.

At the time, these creative directions felt distinctly separate. But here's the thing, looking back with fresh eyes, I can see that every business, industry, interest, lesson and change of direction was adding to a collection of hidden assets that had been accumulating in plain sight.
